Author of SMART FITTness, Focused, Time-Efficient Conditioning

Helping my clients reach their full potential is my ultimate goal. I believe life is a game, and we’re all athletes: in academics, business, or sports, we all compete at some level. Being fit allows us to compete at our best, making the most of our lives.

My early childhood experiences led me to a career in recreation, fitness, and sports. Beginning with track & field at age eight, I have participated in over twenty-five sports competitively or recreationally. My favorites include tennis, squash, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and skiing.

A passion for sports and education led me to formally study teaching methods of Individual, Dual, and Team Sports. Later, I changed my emphasis to Exercise Science, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Washington University. Following a thirty-year career in the health club industry, including managing clubs in China and Malaysia, I shifted my emphasis back to education, becoming the Program Administrator of Eagle Gate College’s Personal Fitness Training Program. Teaming up with my adjunct instructors to prepare our students for a fitness career was a fulfilling experience, furthering my passion for education. After talking myself out of graduate school for a few years, I decided to become a licensed teacher and earned my Master’s in Teaching from Westminster College. Today, I balance my role as a Performance Coach with serving as a teacher, basketball coach, and athletic director at the American Academy of Innovation.

Reaching your full potential involves three main factors: conditioning your mind, fueling your body, and moving your body. I look forward to guiding and directing you to your full potential. Let’s win together!
